Mission Statement: Batavia's Main Street is a major public space that functions as a spine of economic prosperity, community activity and public service.

The "New Main Street" will be designed to safely accommodate traffic, while also comfortably supporting pedestrian, bicycle, recreational and community uses. The clean, organized and consistent visual character of the street will evoke community pride and stewardship.
