Where do I pay my school taxes?

School taxes are issued by the City of Batavia School District and are payable in accordance with what is stated on their tax bills.  During October through December of the year the taxes are due, they can be mailed to the address on the bill or taken to a location noted on the front of the bill.  We do not accept payment at the Clerk’s office during these months.  After January 1st of the year following the year the taxes are due, payments will be made at the Clerk’s office but additional penalties will be incurred.  Please keep in mind that these are not the City’s bills – the City is collecting the School’s bills on the School’s behalf.  Any questions you have about the bill or payments made between October and December will have to be addressed with the School District.  The City does not have the ability to waive any penalty associated with the School's bill.
