Yard Waste Station Procedure
The Yard Waste Station will open mid-April each year. A specific date will be announced as it is decided upon.
CURRENT HOURS:
April thru October - Mondays - Saturdays, open at 12 PM to 6PM .
November to December - Mondays - Saturdays, open 11 AM to 5 PM
CLOSED Sundays and Holidays
The Yard Waste Station is open to City Residents to bring in residential quantities of yard waste.
Only green matter is accepted, (i.e. grass clippings, leaves, branches and twigs). No tree stumps can be accepted. Items cannot be left in containers such as planters, bags or boxes. All containers are to be taken with you upon leaving the station.
No construction debris, fill or other refuse/ garbage will be accepted.
The Yard Waste Station will be closed for the following holidays:
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
The yard waste season will end late November/early December as weather permits.
