School Taxes

The school taxes are issued on October 1 each year by the City School District.  Please note that these taxes are NOT generated or issued by the City of Batavia.  If you have questions about your current school tax bill, please contact the school district at 343-2480. 

 

The school taxes should be paid to the address on the tax bill, not City Hall, unless you are paying after December 31st.   

 

The only time school taxes are paid to the City Clerk's Office is after they are more than 2 months delinquent.  Pay your current school taxes to the school district through December 31st of each year.  After that, payment will have to be made to the City Clerk's Office and will include additional interest charges.  See the back of your school tax bill for additional information.
