Human Resources is responsible for the administration of all personnel or human resource related activities. This includes the administration of employee benefits, health care maintenance, employee wellness, maintenance and promulgation of personnel policies, and labor relations. This department is required to comply with Federal and State Labor Laws in ensuring fair labor practices.
MAJOR SERVICE ACTIVITIES
- Administration of employee benefits. Development and maintenance of personnel policies and procedures. Maintain employee health care and wellness programs. Maintain positive employee relations through advocation of employee concerns.
- Secure and administer employment agreements with the City's four labor unions.
