Bids for 27' Tilt Trailer
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for a 27’ Tilt Trailer will be received by the CITY OF BATAVIA at the Bureau of Water & Wastewater, One Batavia City Centre, Batavia, New York, 14020 until 10:00 AM, E.S.T., May 3rd, 2024 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid envelopes shall be marked on the outside “Bid for 27’ Tilt Trailer”.
Specifications and bid requirements may be obtained at the Department of Public Works in City Hall at One Batavia City Centre, Batavia, NY, 14020 or online: www.batavianewyork.com/government/bids-rfps. All bids shall be submitted on forms provided by the City. Questions should be directed to the Bureau of Water & Wastewater at (585) 345-6324 or tphelps@batavianewyork.com.
The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Jackson Square DRI Project
The City of Batavia is requesting proposals from qualified artists to support the revitalization of the City of Batavia’s entertainment center, Jackson Square.
PURPOSE: The project aims to enhance the entranceways into Jackson Square and extend the cultural corridor within our city.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Creation of two metal archways to be installed at each entrance into Jackson Square: Jackson and Center Streets. Project includes installation or subcontracted installation of archways.
PROJECT CRITERIA:
1. Budget showing costs for:
• Materials to include painting and powder coating
• Labor
• Delivery
• Installation
2. Estimated time for completion and installation
3. Examples of previous metal work
This program is funded by the NYS Dept. of State through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative. Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
